John still competed with the flu, not a wise choice. He
ended up losing a match via points and got Bronze. Carlos won his division and took home the GOLD.
2009 Super
Heavy Brown Belt World Champion, Carlos Melo! The final match was total domination. He made the guy tap in 38
seconds!
World Championships in Long Beach CA on 6-04-09 through 06-07-09.
There will be no class the week of June 4th through June 7th. The Claudio Franca BJJ Team will be competing that week.

2009 American Cup- everyone fought hard
and there where no injuries. Jason made it to the second round and John aka "Magoo" walked
away with a silver medal.

Robin, Eddie Jimenez and Doug Coleman. They competed at Claudio Franca's Jiu Jitsu by the sea tournament.
Doug Coleman and Eddie Jimenez took home bronze medals in their weight division. Jason Robin was today's champion
winning the gold medal in his weight division!
